ENG  >  It is a common assumption that the best sunset views in Santorini are seen from Oia. However, if you want to enjoy the truly santorinian sunset experience, you don’t have to go that north. Instead, head a little bit south from Thira and go to Santo Wines, which is a cooperative of the wine producers of the island. The winery includes a large bar with stunning views of the caldera. If you’re traveling in summer, make sure you arrive early before sunset, pick a good table just at the edge of the caldera cliffs, order a wine “flight” (6, 12 or 18 glass’ tastings, all with cheese and bread) and enjoy the breathtaking spectacle of the changing light. You’ll find nothing best.

CAT  >  És normal assumir que la millor posta de sol de Santorini només es veu des de Oia, però si realment vols gaudir de la millor posta de la illa, no cal anar tant al nord. En comptes d’això, just al sud de Thira hi ha Santo Wines, una cooperativa dels productors de vi de la illa. El celler compta amb un gran bar, amb unes vistes espectaculars de la caldera. A l’estiu és recomanable arribar amb temps abans de que es pongui el sol, agafar una taula just a l’extrem del penyasegat, demanar un wine “flight” (tastos de 6, 12 o 18 copes, amb formatge i pa) i gaudir dels canvis de llum, en un espectacle
que et deixa sense alè. No trobaràs res millor.
